Video Productions

With "Make Over" video productions, the WelCare Initiative will address its third objective to promote reduction in "disease- risk" behaviors through innoventive* approaches that involve the individual and the community.  The "Make Over" literally sets the stage to educate the audience about disease-risk behaviors, addressing the recognition of signs/symptoms of various health problems, promoting wellness literacy and providing health care options.

 

 

 



 

 

 

The production will be partially scripted and partially improvised, to include commercials that are also designed for each topic.  Critical to these video episodes will be the structured discussion that follows each episode.  Designed to reinforce the messages in the calendar and wellness literacy curriculum, each presentation will be followed by a discussion between audience and actors.

The goal of the "Make Over" will be to saturate the target community and the community-at-large with the idea that it is never too late for a make over!  Please call St. Vincent's House for further details.
