An Oasis of Hope, expecting Miracles...

Referrals

Working in conjunction with the network of social service, health and charitable agencies in the greater Galveston community, St. Vincent's House helps to meet the needs of families by providing appropriate referral information and contacts to those agencies which offer a variety of services ranging from food stamps to substance abuse counseling.

Food Pantry

The Food Pantry provides canned goods and non-perishable food items to families and individuals without resources, in need of immediate assistance.

At Thanksgiving, volunteers and staff provide food baskets with Turkey & all the fixings to the community residents.

"As a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, our task is to encourage the community (those served and those who serve) to be proactive in their lives; helping to bring the needed changes for a renewed and revitalized community.
Our prayer is that all those who enter St. Vincent's doors will at least be able to leave with hope. We are an Oasis of Hope, expecting miracles..."
