CLINIC SERVICES

In partnership with others  St. Vincent's House is able to offer a varity of primary  & specialty care to those who might otherwise go without medical/mental health/dental/vision care or treatment: the indigent, transient, and uninsured of our community.

  1. UTMB Medical Student's (PM Clinic) Free Clinic
    The Hope Clinic is a medical student directed free clinic for acute health care and specialty services. Students are supervised by Licensed Faculty Physicians. The services provided include: General Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Neurology, Gynecology and Rheumatology Please call for an appointment 409.765.2209 Clinic Hours are Tuesdays and Thursday 4 to 8:30 pm; Saturday 9 am to 2 pm
  2. The Nurse Practioner Managed Clinic (AM Clinic)
    This full time "AM clinic" is staffed by Nurser Practioners with a supervising physician. It is an innovative health care practice that provides comprehensive care to St. Vincent's clients with emphasis on chronic health problems.   3. UTMB Occupational, Physical, Speech Therapy
    Patients need a medical referral for these services. For an appointment, please call 409.765.2209 Hours of Operation: Wednesday – PT 1-5:30 pm; Wednesday – Speech 1-5:30 pm; Thursday – OT 12:30 – 4:30 pm
  4. Lions Club/Prevent Blindness
    The Lions Club does eye screening to qualify patients to see the Optometrist for $27.00 (or free based on financial criteria) for a vision exam and prescription for free glasses. 2nd & 4th Thursday's of the Month 9-11am For more information, please call 409.765.2209
  5. UTMB Ophthalmology
    Patients are referred to the "Prevent Blindness" program if they have more chronic/serious eye issues. Please call 409.765.2209 for an appointment
  6. Family Counseling
    The Family Service Center provides mental health services on a full-time basis at St. Vincent's House. There are at least 2 Full-time therapists that coordinate with the AM/PM clinic. The staff includes bilingual personnel. Please call 409.765.2217 for an appointment Offered Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm
  7. UTMB Dentistry
    Patients are "pre-screened" through the Medical Student PM clinic and referred to the STVH Dental Clinic for extractions because of high risk infections. Clinic is open on the second and fourth Saturday, every month Please call 409.765.2209 for an appointment
