An Oasis of Hope, expecting Miracles...

The Transportation Program provides a means for low-income residents, senior citizens, medical patients and children of the area to reach needed medical care, doctor and business appointments.

The Transportation Program also provides assistance with the delivery of hot meals to the elderly and disabled as an extension of Meals on Wheels, in additional to delivery of clothing and other essentials to area residents in need of such assistance. The St. Vincent's House van is a 'Life Line' to the community, delivering more than 2,100 meals last year alone, and making more than 3,500 pickups.

The transportation program has been instrumental in facilitating the mobility of children in low income families, so they can participate in recreational and cultural activities throughout Galveston that offer an opportunity for growth and awareness.
