St. Vincent's House wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.

MLK Day Celebration and Prayer Circle

St. Vincent's House and GISD's Family and Community Engagement Program are hosting a Fall Family Fest on November 2, 2022 from 10AM to 1PM. It is our goal to provide students and their families with the tools and resources they need to thrive during the coming winter season. 

 

We will be collecting new and gently used winter clothing, coats, jackets, hoodies, hats, scarves, etc. as well as school supplies, blankets, and gift cards. 

 

Donations can be dropped off at the Scott Building (4116 Ave N 1/2) from October 24th through November 2nd from 8AM-12PM and 1PM-6PM Monday-Friday. Please call (409) 761-6400 upon arrival. 

Drop off canned/boxed donations now until November 22nd, Monday-Friday 9am-1pm Turkey/chicken drop off: November 22nd from

8am to 10am.

SVH is collecting names of families in need of support during the Christmas holiday, to participate in the Christmas HOPE Tree program, sponsored by Trinity Church and School. If you or someone you know will be in need of Christmas support for children, contact St. Vincent's House. Participants are limited to first come, first serve. Information should be received by the first week of October 2022.

Join us for the Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration and Prayer Circle at St. Vincent's House on Monday, January 16th at 9:30AM. Breakfast tacos and coffee will be provided. This event will also stream on Facebook LIVE to our Facebook page!
